Returning issues with knees, having to be extra careful with my shoulder, combined with a lack of the strength and fitness to attack all the exercises I used to perform with vigour, have really knocked my confidence in my fitness for six.
As opposed to getting into a rut and just giving up entirely, I've been doing what I can, but unfortunately, that has until now been only two workouts per week. Better than before, but not a level I feel comfortable with. For this reason I'm drawing up my own new approach; a super easy to follow plan, with a progression that won't leave me wanting to hang myself from the nearest pull-up bar by the second workout. In fact, let's drop the word workout. This plan is about working myself in - to being able to work out properly. Once I've got it written down, and done some testing on myself and some unlucky friends, I'll put it up on the site to download. If you'd like to also be part of the testing, drop me a message through the contact form!
The goals will be:
1: Bolster Joints
2: Loosen Muscles
3: Build Strength
4: Increase Cardiovascular Fitness
This isn't about becoming a superman, it's about equipping myself to give any of the great, predesigned training plans out there a real go.
