Now it sounds like I'm setting you up for a disappointing result after these first six weeks. But that's not the case at all. Rather I just want to highlight the effect a clean diet can have. At the weigh in on Monday, after 6 weeks exactly, I saw a beautiful sight. Double digits.
Only just, but double digits nevertheless. I'll be honest, I would have been very happy with 102kg, after bumbling along between 103.5 and 105kg for the previous few weeks. 99.9kg, after weighing just over 110kg a mere month and a half before? Ecstatic.
Looking to the next 6 weeks, my primary goal is going to be to work on strength and fitness. The initial weight loss will have hopefully made this easier. As will have the Blackroll and stretching sessions. Being only 5kg away from my 10th August goal of 95kg will probably both motivate and frustrate me at times; I'm expecting it will still take the full time to get down there; this initial progress would be nigh on impossible to maintain without getting a flesh eating virus.
