6 WEEKS IN
Well, the first six weeks are pretty much up, and my lord did they fly by. It's 23rd May 2015, and I've truly earned my first proper cheat on the 25th!
The first few days were tough with sugar withdrawal, and my body ridding itself of all the excess crap hanging around and causing that bloated look. Within that first week I dropped 6 kilograms of water weight, to bring me down to 104kg. For the next 2-3 weeks I hovered between 103.5kg and 105kg. By the middle of Week 5, I had dropped to a relatively stable 102.5kg.
The last 10 days were however when the real action happened. I upped my water intake, and following a brief interlude with a plate of chips in Stuttgart, experienced a so called "whoosh" and saw my weight break the three digit barrier - 99.9kg.
Pretty much 100% of this progress can be attributed to diet. My recurring knee and shoulder issues prohibited me from training beyond twice a week, to keep loose and prevent muscle loss more than anything.
My measurements don't appear to have changed as much as I expected, especially on my chest, neck and arms. I guess my positive mood is projecting changes onto what I see in the mirror.
I'm looking forward to the next six weeks, when I should be able to train at a higher intensity and frequency.
Thanks to everyone for the support over the last few weeks!
